Pam Maddock
Fertility Nurse

Pam is a highly experienced nurse, dedicating over 15 years of her nursing career to fertility and assisting patients to fulfil their dream of having a family.

Pam began her nursing career at Cabrini Hospital in 1979 working as a perioperative nurse and in 1980 moved to Prince Henry’s Hospital Medical Research Centre where she spent the next two years working in fertility and as a research nurse.

Over the next ten years Pam decided to follow her other passion and together with her husband created and managed several gift stores throughout Melbourne known as Essence and Tradewinds.

In 2002 Pam decided to return to her first passion of nursing and retrained to become a Division 1 Nurse. She spent a year at Monash Medical Centre working in the Perioperative Nursing Development Program before accepting a Fertility Nurse role at Australia’s leading Fertility Clinic, Monash IVF. Pam has always been passionate about women’s health and fertility, and being part of a world-renowned clinical, scientific and research clinic meant she could play a critical role throughout a patient’s fertility and IVF treatment.

In 2011 Pam took on more responsibilities including managing a number of Monash IVF satellite clinics and developing the Clayton nursing team.

In February 2019 Pam decided to accept a new exciting opportunity to be part of Dr Talmor’s team. This role will enable Pam to provide assistance and support to not only patients undergoing fertility treatment, but also patients seeking help and treatment for a wide range of gynaecological conditions as well. Pam is excited to be able to provide clinical and emotional support to Dr Talmor’s patients throughout their entire journey, understanding that seeking expert help and treatment can be a really stressful and overwhelming time.
